Job #1 - Class 1 Gravel Truck Driver
We are looking for a class 1 driver with gravel truck experience to join our team.
The Ideal candidate would be an individual that works well in a team environment as well as independently.
Everyday can be a different challenge.
The Competitive wages are negotiable and based on experience and skill.
The following are must haves:
-Minimum 2 years prior experience as a tandem gravel truck driver
-Experience pulling a pony and quad.
-Valid class 1 drivers licence.
-A clean driver’s abstract is a must
-Good people skills
-Must keep Truck clean and presentable.
-Ability to operate other heavy equipment such as excavators, front end loaders,loaders and skid steers etc… and is mechanically inclined is a bonus.

The Johal family has been trucking on the island since the 1930’s and now has 4 generations worth of trucking experience!
Job #2- Heavy Equipment Operator
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled loader and excavator/ yard attendant to join our team.
The Ideal candidate would be an individual that works well in a team environment.
Everyday can be a different challenge.
The wages are negotiable and based on experience and skill.
The following are must haves:
-prior experience with heavy equipment being excavators or front end loaders
-Valid class 5 drivers license or better, air endorsement is a bonus.
-Good people skills
-being mechanically inclined/ welding etc is a bonus.
Typical daily duties include, helping customers and loading trucks, checking machinery, daily maintenance, greasing, washing and keeping equipment in good clean working order, keeping the yard clean.
We are fairly flexible in terms of a schedule however typical work schedule is Monday to Friday 8 to 4 and the odd saturday.

We serve our customers from Sooke to Sidney and beyond.
ONCE applicants are approved they will begin a formal interview and skills test.
Job #3 - Skilled Slinger Operator
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled slinger operator to join our team.
The Ideal candidate would be an individual that works well in a team environment as well as independently.
Everyday can be a different challenge.
The wages are negotiable and based on experience and skill.
The following are must haves:
-Minimum 1 year prior experience as a slinger operator.
-Valid class 1 or 3 with an air endorsement.
-A clean driver’s abstract is a must
-Good people skills
-Ability to operate other heavy equipment such as loaders and excavators and is mechanically inclined is a bonus.
